360 Windows Have been Automated with Motors Provided by KADRA at the National Library
Ventilation in the National Library is achieved with the help of 360 automated windows, operated by Comunello motors.
These automated windows are connected to a centralized system that allows complete control over them.
Thus, not only can the windows be opened to ensure optimal temperature or humidity within the building, but they can also create ventilation cycles on separate floors or just in specific rooms.
The windows are operated by Comunello L35 24V chain motors.
The 24V power supply allows the motors to operate even during a power outage. This is crucial, considering that during a fire, the power is cut to prevent new sources of fire through sparks.
Comunello L35 chain motors offer a window opening of up to 420 mm for windows with a base of 1.2 m in length, reaching a maximum of 5 m in length in the case of synchronized motors on the same window.
The National Library, protected by Comunello L35 window motors, embodies a new concept of cultural space, both in terms of useful areas and architecture.
