Automated Vehicle Parking Management

The Parkomatic system works as an ecosystem — the barrier, the LPR camera, the ticketing booth, the guidance sensor, and the charging station communicate with each other and with the remote management platform. When everything operates in sync, the parking lot manages itself. When one component falls out of parameters, the effect ripples through the system: an LPR camera with low accuracy generates manual exceptions, a parking meter with a faulty card reader blocks transactions, a barrier with degraded response time creates queues at the exit. Periodic maintenance checks each component individually and the system as a whole.

Checks cover automatic barriers — the motor, the inductive loop sensor, and response times; LPR cameras — recognition accuracy under varying light conditions and communication with the platform; ticketing systems and automatic booths — card readers, ticket printers, and connectivity; PGS guidance systems — free-space detection sensors and LED displays; electric vehicle charging stations — connector functionality, overload protection, and communication with the monitoring platform.

Parking lots with continuous operation and high traffic benefit from semi-annual checks as a minimum standard. Components with accelerated wear — barriers and ticketing booths in high-volume parking lots — may require quarterly inspections. A planned service program is more predictable in cost than emergency intervention and keeps system availability at the level it was designed for.
