University Square parking — a new, modern system installed in just 12 hours

University Square parking, one of Bucharest’s best-known and busiest areas, underwent a complete modernization carried out by the KADRA team — in a record time of just 12 hours.

The works were carried out overnight to avoid affecting traffic and access in the area, and the effort involved exemplary mobilization of the technical and logistics team, which managed to replace the entire access management system within an extremely short timeframe.

The modernization included:

Implementation of a new Parkomatic parking system, fully automated, capable of efficiently managing a high vehicle flow and enabling fast payment through various methods (bank card, mobile app, etc.).
Installation of state-of-the-art equipment from CAME, designed specifically for large-scale car parks and non-stop operation, with reduced maintenance and increased efficiency.

Through this intervention, University Square parking becomes an example of best practice in modernizing urban infrastructure: a benchmark car park, adapted to today’s requirements for urban mobility, safety, and accessibility.
