Parking System Service
Fast interventions, audit, and maintenance
Rapid on-site support, audits, and maintenance for automated parking systems, nationwide. Our own teams, multi-brand diagnostics, and repairs for barriers, access terminals, pay stations, and parking management systems.

Why you need parking system service
A blocked barrier can prevent entry into a parking lot, and an unavailable pay station can delay exit. For the parking owner or administrator, these situations mean additional demands on staff, dissatisfaction from drivers, and, in paid parking lots, financial losses.
Parking system service includes diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electronic, and software components, as well as checking how equipment communicates with each other. Preventive maintenance monitors wear and tear and helps reduce repeated blockages. Corrective interventions remain necessary when damage occurs, including those caused by hitting the barrier arm or incorrect use of terminals.
KADRA Service operates nationwide. We provide parking system service for office buildings and shopping centers in Bucharest or Cluj-Napoca, hotels in Constanța and Brașov, hospitals and public parking lots in Iași and Timișoara, as well as in other locations across the country.
We work with Parkomatic systems, KADRA’s own brand, and with equipment installed by other suppliers, based on technical evaluation. For owners and administrators of multiple parking lots, this means a single service partner for different locations and brands.
5 signs that your parking system is no longer working properly

1. The barrier gets stuck or moves too slowly or too quickly
A barrier that remains open, doesn't lift, or whose arm moves erratically requires inspection. The technician inspects the drive mechanism, motor, fastenings, and control board. Depending on the configuration, they also check photocells, inductive loops, and vehicle presence detectors. The symptom alone does not identify the faulty part.

2. The pay station gets stuck or does not dispense change
Repeated refusal of banknotes, coin jams, or problems with dispensing change justify checking the cash modules: banknote acceptor, recycler, coin acceptor or dispenser, as equipped. If card payment does not work, the terminal and communication with the payment service are checked to identify where the error occurs.

3. The terminal does not issue or read tickets correctly
Blocked tickets, illegible printing, and validation errors can delay access or exit. After checking consumables according to equipment instructions, diagnosis focuses on the ticket printer, transport mechanism, and barcode or QR code reader. Printers and cash processing modules are important points in the maintenance program.

4. LPR cameras no longer recognize license plates correctly
If vehicle identification frequently fails, the image, camera orientation, lighting, and recognition parameters are checked. The LPR system, also called ANPR, must be checked together with authorization rules and the connection to the parking software. A correctly read number may still be refused if the subscription or access right is not valid.

5. Equipment appears offline or information does not update
Terminals unavailable in the administration application, payments not reflected upon exit, or the display of available spaces not updating justify checking communication. Diagnosis focuses on power supply, network connections, error messages, and data exchange between equipment and software. It is determined whether the problem is local or affects multiple components.

Act quickly, reduce repair costs
If you observe these symptoms, request a technical check. When barrier operation endangers users, manage access according to site procedures and manufacturer instructions until a specialist intervenes. Do not force the arm and do not deactivate protections.
Services for parking systems
From equipment evaluation to repairs and periodic revisions, services are determined based on parking configuration, traffic, and operating mode.

Technical
audit
We inventory equipment and evaluate its condition, intervention history, and overall system operation: access, identification, payment, and exit. Checks are adapted to the installed components.
You receive a technical report, recommendations, and an estimated quote. You’ll know what’s urgent, what can be scheduled, and what needs to be budgeted.
Maintenance subscriptions
We plan revisions, cleanings, adjustments, and functional tests, adapted to the equipment and usage. We check barriers, safety devices, terminals, and pay stations.
KADRA Service CARE, PLUS, and TOTAL packages include one, two, or four annual revisions. Response times are set in the offer and maintenance contract.
Rapid
interventions
We handle requests for blocked barriers, unavailable terminals, payment, or identification errors. We prioritize based on operational impact, urgency, and contractual conditions.
We can start with remote diagnosis if the system allows authorized access. For repairs or physical checks, the team intervenes on-site.

Repairs and spare parts
We perform adjustments and replace worn components: barrier arms, motors, electronic boards, photocells, printers, and readers. Regional stocks support interventions.
For heavy traffic, we recommend that the beneficiary keeps a set of spare parts. For recurring problems, we propose software updates or modernizations.
Types of parking systems and equipment served
We provide service and maintenance for public and private parking lots, surface or underground, used in retail, hotels, office buildings, hospitals, airports, and residential complexes.

How our process works
A simple and transparent process, from first contact to completion of the intervention. You know exactly what’s coming next, who’s in charge, and what you’re getting — no ambiguities, no hidden costs.
You call us or send a request. Mention the location, affected equipment, symptom, and error code. State whether the problem blocks entry, payment, or exit, and if it affects a single lane or the entire parking lot. A photo of the label or displayed message can help with the initial assessment.
The technician checks the equipment, connections, and relevant safety functions. They observe the problem within the context of the parking system and document their findings. Remote diagnosis can supplement the evaluation if the infrastructure allows.
You receive the technical solution, necessary works and parts, costs, and proposed timeline. Planning considers component availability and periods when intervention least affects traffic.
We perform the work and test the affected functions, including the link between identification, authorization, and barrier opening, according to configuration. Finally, you receive the technical report and maintenance recommendations. The history helps identify recurring incidents and plan the budget.
Standards and compliance
The service monitors the system’s operation in relation to manufacturer documentation and the requirements applicable to each piece of equipment. The access mechanism check is complemented by testing protection devices and commands received from the system.
Documentation and functional checks
Works and recommendations are recorded in technical reports. After a repair or software update, affected functions are checked: ticket or license plate reading, validation of access rights or payment, and barrier command. Tests ensure the coherent operation of the system within the scope of the work performed.

Frequently asked questions
How often should a parking system be maintained?
The frequency is determined according to manufacturers’ instructions, number of cycles, traffic, and environmental conditions. Barriers, printers, and cash modules may have different requirements. The maintenance plan is adapted to the entire configuration, and consumables and cash collection are managed according to operating procedures.
What is the difference between maintenance and service intervention?
Preventive maintenance includes planned checks and adjustments to limit wear and the risk of jamming. Corrective intervention resolves an issue that has already occurred, through diagnosis, repairs, and testing. Periodic inspections and available support in case of a breakdown complement each other.
Do you service parking systems installed by other suppliers?
Yes, KADRA Service can take over equipment installed by other suppliers, after an assessment. Their condition, documentation, parts compatibility, and the possibility of software access are checked. The solution and the limits of the service are specified in the quote.
What does a service contract for parking systems include?
The contract defines the equipment covered, inspections, checks, reporting, and response and intervention conditions. It also specifies remote services, if available, as well as the conditions for parts, consumables, and software updates. The content is adapted to the location and mode of operation.
How long does an emergency intervention take
The timeframe depends on the incident’s impact, location, and contract. Some issues can be assessed or resolved remotely; others require travel and parts. Response time to the request, arrival at the location, and repair duration are distinct stages.
What a technical audit of the parking system includes
The audit examines the condition of the equipment and their combined operation: barriers, terminals, payment, identification, and communication, according to configuration. You receive documented findings, recommendations, and an estimated quote to prioritize repairs, maintenance, or modernization.
What to do if the barrier doesn't open after paying for parking
Note the time, exit lane, and displayed message, then check in the administration application if payment and exit rights are registered, within your operator access limits. Transmit the information to the service team. The problem may involve validation, vehicle identification, communication, or the barrier; do not force the mechanism.
How much does parking system service cost
The cost depends on configuration, defect, labor, parts, and location. For maintenance, the number of equipment, traffic, and frequency of revisions matter. The offer is determined after evaluation, specifying the works and services included.
Other equipment serviced
KADRA Service also offers service and maintenance for automatic pedestrian doors, medical doors, turnstiles, high-speed gates, automatic gates, fire-resistant doors and curtains, and smoke ventilation equipment. Services are determined after identifying the equipment and its technical requirements.
