About KADRA
Hospitals
Our Vision
At KADRA, we amplify freedom of movement through solutions that make access more intuitive, safer, and better integrated into daily life. We believe that access is not just a technical necessity, but an experience that influences how people interact with the spaces around them. Whether it’s a hospital where safety and hygiene are essential, an industrial building where efficiency dictates every process, or a city optimizing its infrastructure, access solutions must be more than functional – they must be intuitive, safe, and adapted to the realities of each place.
Our story began in Cluj-Napoca in 1993, driven by the desire to bring advanced technologies and solutions to the Romanian market that make a difference. Since then, we have grown, evolved, and become a benchmark in the field of integrated access solutions. Today, we are part of EMI Group, which allows us to further develop our integrated approach and share our expertise within an ecosystem of innovative companies.
KADRA means a team of dedicated professionals, engineers, consultants, and technicians who not only implement solutions but design them based on context, challenges, and specific objectives. We take pride in our people, the experience gained, and the solid partnerships built over time. We believe that technology reaches its true potential when it serves people, and our team is here precisely for that: to transform each project into a solution that works, provides safety, and adds long-term value.
If you’ve reached this point, it means you are also looking not just for a technical solution, but a reliable partner.
Welcome to the KADRA universe!

KADRA Team
Kadra History
In Cluj-Napoca, in an emerging industry: access automation solutions, Aluterm Group is born, a visionary company that introduces innovative solutions for that period to the construction market: automatic doors and polycarbonate. Although the industry was just beginning to adopt these technologies, the first years were dedicated to building relationships with entrepreneurs in the field and implementing the first projects. This was the foundation of a business that would grow and establish itself in the market over the following decades.

During this period, the company expands its national presence by opening branches in Bucharest, Timisoara, and Bacau. The team grows, and projects become increasingly complex, supported by solid partnerships with European leaders in automatic doors, industrial gates, automatic barriers, and polycarbonate extrusion. The company becomes a reference name in the access solutions market.

The company takes an important step towards specialization and development, launching two proprietary ranges of solutions:
- Parkomatic (2011) – intelligent systems for automated parking management.
- Tormed (2013) – access solutions for hospitals, designed to meet the most demanding requirements in the medical field.
During this period, the company obtains ISO (DEKRA) certification and redefines its business model to support accelerated growth and the expansion of its solution portfolio.

The year 2019 brings a strategic transformation: Aluterm becomes KADRA, adopting a new visual identity and an integrated business model. The company expands its implementation capacity by acquiring two installation, service, and maintenance companies, consolidating its position as a provider of complete access solutions. The growth of partnerships with major construction companies in Romania and the expertise gained in automation and access management lead to surpassing the threshold of 10 million euros in turnover.

KADRA continues the process of modernization and energy efficiency, investing in the production unit in Cluj-Napoca and attracting non-reimbursable funds for these initiatives. In 2023, the company is implementing two projects co-financed by European funds:
Installation of photovoltaic panels – reducing the carbon footprint and optimizing energy consumption. Acquisition of advanced machinery – to increase the efficiency and quality of production processes.

KADRA becomes part of EMI Group, an important European player in industrial access solutions. This strategic alliance, effective from December 1, 2023, opens new opportunities for expansion in international markets, leveraging KADRA's expertise in fields such as medical, commercial, and smart mobility.

The journey continues with very bold objectives and a strong team, ready to turn challenges into opportunities and confidently advance towards new achievements.
