Access Control Turnstiles for Kaufland's Logistics Center in Turda
To streamline and control access at the logistics center in Turda, Kaufland chose access control solutions from KADRA represented by access control turnstiles and automatic barriers. The logistics center covers an area of 40 hectares and stores tens of thousands of products. With over 6000 pallets delivered daily to Kaufland stores throughout the western and northern regions of the country, the flow of people and freight vehicles is very high. A simple and quick access solution was necessary to streamline the entries and exits of such a logistics unit.
The access control and traffic streamlining solution from KADRA was represented by two full-height access control turnstiles for entry into the logistics center and a tripod turnstile for the control area.
The Model of Access Control Turnstiles Chosen for Turda
Model 312 of the high turnstile with three sectors is made of galvanized steel painted electrostatically, and the rotor is made of stainless steel, resistant to heavy traffic, with a passage width of 600 mm and equipped with support for access control readers.
Specially designed for areas targeting pedestrian access control and a high degree of security and safety, access control turnstiles offer comfortable passage. Additionally, in case of a power outage, they allow easy passage of people without blocking, thanks to the integrated safety system.
Access Control Solution from KADRA
In addition to turnstiles, to streamline and control vehicle traffic, two barriers with a 6 m arm were installed, which included a traffic light system to streamline traffic.
Barrier Gard 8 is a barrier with a modern style and aesthetically pleasing appearance. It has a rounded LED signal lamp that guarantees safety and has a long lifespan, as well as photocells that can be integrated into the body. The protective sleeve guards against the danger of impact during the arm’s movement, upon opening and closing.
