The KADRA Service maintenance program is a comprehensive service for preventive and corrective maintenance of automatic access systems, based on:

The service aims to ensure safe operation in compliance with EN16005 (the European safety standard specifying requirements for pedestrian automatic doors), optimize operating costs, and extend the lifespan of components through planned actions, periodic inspections, and repairs carried out by technicians experienced in multi-brand maintenance.

How much can you save with maintenance?
We analyzed the total maintenance costs for two companies operating sliding automatic doors of the same type, used in similar pedestrian flows. The goal was to evaluate the effect of regular preventive maintenance based on a maintenance contract.

Study conclusions
The case of Company 1 SRL illustrates the concrete effects of postponing maintenance:
- No maintenance work was performed during the first 2 years.
- After operating without maintenance, annual costs increased significantly starting in 2021, peaking between 2022–2024.
In contrast, Company 2 SRL applied preventive maintenance from the first year, keeping annual costs stable and predictable.
This difference highlights a key principle: postponing preventive maintenance for two years can lead to a rapid increase in costs over six years, in this case by 59%.
