Skylux Polycarbonate Skylights from KADRA for Bagdasar Arseni Hospital

KADRA teams delivered and installed six polycarbonate skylights Skylux for the newest and largest emergency reception unit, which will soon open at the Bagdasar Arseni Clinical Emergency Hospital in the capital.

The UPU department at Bagdasar Arseni Hospital will be operational in July this year and is considered the most modern in the country. The investment amounts to 3.5 million euros and is funded by the sector 4 city hall.

The new two-story building has an area of 1,236 sqm and will be connected by a suspended walkway to the hospital building on the 2nd floor. The major emergency department will be expanded, the minor emergency department will be precisely delineated, and a decontamination area will be set up near the triage.

KADRA offers complete zenithal lighting solutions, including dome skylights (polycarbonate skylights) produced by Skylux. These are high-quality, modern solutions with exceptional design and long-lasting durability.

With a PVC base and a double-layer dome, the Skylux skylight has European certification for impact resistance. It provides sound insulation and allows light penetration up to 79%.

Beyond durability, KADRA specialists proposed this modern lighting solution for aesthetic reasons, to fit the modern design of the new medical unit.
