Decitex Ro Oradea

The Decitex company was founded in 2000 by Guillaume Leymonerie and specializes in the development, creation, and innovation of textiles. It is the company with the second largest customer base in the microfiber industry.

In 2005, Decitex created Decitex Ro in Romania, in collaboration with the textile brand Aura. The first Decitex Ro center was created in Oradea, and the second Romanian center was started in 2016.

This project aims to increase production capacity by over 300%.

The new building is not just a simple factory; the Decitex team has taken on several challenges to create a truly special building. Thus, the new Decitex factory was designed considering the following plans:

  • The factory will respect the environment through the materials chosen for construction and the thermal insulation of the roof using a sandwich panel system and smoke hatches for halls.
  • Integrated thermal control in the flooring and automated air conditioning for each room of the factory according to the activity carried out.
  • Induction lighting for the production area intended to provide light similar to natural light 24 hours a day.
  • Workspaces designed for people with disabilities and reduced mobility.
  • Vegetable garden for relaxation and seasonal consumption of vegetables by employees.

Precisely because they care about their employees and want to protect them and provide a safe working environment, Decitex Ro purchased from KADRA 6 smoke hatches for halls with roof installation.

The six smoke hatches for halls have a thermally insulated base made of polyester resin reinforced with fiberglass and a corrugated base for installation on a roof made of sandwich panels.

Thus, the six smoke hatches for halls not only provide a solution for employee safety and smoke evacuation but also a solution for reducing electricity costs by using natural light transmitted through the thermoformed polycarbonate dome of the hatch.

It is well known that human losses in a fire are mainly caused by smoke intoxication; 87% of people caught in a fire lose their lives in the first 5 minutes due to smoke.

Precisely for this reason, the installation of smoke hatches for halls or smoke evacuation systems is imperative for any building and is also implemented by law.

Also, to avoid creating a greenhouse effect and prevent heat accumulation in the high areas of the building, the hatches are provided with thermoformed cellular polycarbonate, 16 mm thick.

This ensures that the temperature remains constant in any room and that employees and the building are protected from heat and hazards.

The smoke hatch system for halls offered by KADRA is certified according to EN 12101 – 2 with CE marking.

Additionally, the smoke hatch system for halls complies with IGSU (General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations) standards, facilitating the rapid approval of operation.

The smoke hatches comply with the European fire protection standard EN 12101 -2.
