Smoke Hatches – Ventilation Hatches
Ventilation hatches can be positioned either horizontally or vertically. They consist of: a fixed frame, a movable aluminum frame, and extruded aluminum hinges, on which the dome is mounted with an electric motor opening that allows a variable stroke, depending on your project.
The dome can be made of cellular polycarbonate (classic or thermal), of various thicknesses, depending on the width of the dome.
Before installation, the following aspects must be checked:
- The size of the smoke hatches and openings
- Base thermal insulation (is mandatory)
- The type of roof on which the installation is made and its thickness (if it is a sandwich panel, the type of panel must also be mentioned)
- Existence of curbs
- Waterproofing process
- Roof support structure
- Position of the hatch on the roof
- Installation of smoke hatches
