How does the technical audit take place?
The technical audit is a comprehensive process for evaluating the condition of automatic doors, gates, barriers, and access systems, carried out by specialized KADRA teams. The purpose of the audit is to identify faults and worn components early in order to ensure safe operation in accordance with EN16005, the European safety standard that defines requirements for automatic pedestrian doors.

The technical audit service is free of charge* for companies in the industrial sector, hospitals, office buildings, and shopping centers that own at least 10 units within their access system (automatic doors, industrial gates, medical doors, barriers, parking systems, etc.).
Audit steps
- Door labeling – each automatic door is identified and marked so it can be included in the final report.
- Complete inspection – the KADRA Service team tests all components of the door: drive system, rollers, sensors, electronic boards, backup batteries, safety mechanisms. Both measurements and functional tests are carried out.
- Presence of the client’s technical team – the beneficiary’s technician and the KADRA Service team participate in every audit.
- Specialized expertise – KADRA Service technicians are qualified, have multi-brand experience, and are trained by manufacturers in Switzerland, France, and Germany.

What does the client receive at the end of the audit?
After the inspections, the client receives a detailed Technical Report for each audited door, which includes:
- door type,
- the condition of the components,
- identified defects and
- functionality assessment (whether the door can continue to be used or requires immediate repair)
- estimated cost for repairs, based on the report’s conclusions.
Subsequently, the KADRA Service representative provides advice on the correct interpretation of the report’s conclusions and cost estimate, establishing intervention priorities — for example, how long a door can be used before replacement or which components require urgent replacement.
