Automated KADRA Access Solutions for the Newest Medicover Hospital in Bucharest
In 2023, KADRA contributed to the modernization of medical infrastructure in Romania by implementing a complete range of automated access solutions in the newest hospital of the Medicover network, located in the Pipera area of Bucharest.
With an area of 22,000 m² and a significant investment, the hospital with 182 beds was set up in a former office building, transformed into a modern and efficient medical unit.
Implemented Solutions
- Tormed ER Automatic Hermetic Doors
Installed in operating blocks, these doors ensure complete sealing on all four sides, operating quietly and safely thanks to advanced sensor systems. They help prevent the transmission of pathogens by eliminating direct contact with surfaces. - Tormed S Medical Ward Doors
Specially designed to reduce the risk of nosocomial infections, these “clean” doors are essential for maintaining a hygienic environment in patient wards. - Fire-resistant metal doors and lead-lined doors
Adapted for radiology departments, these doors provide protection against radiation and comply with the strictest safety standards.
Through these solutions, KADRA ensured a safe and efficient flow within the hospital, while providing comfort to patients and medical staff. Close collaboration with architecture and execution teams allowed for the harmonious integration of advanced technologies into the overall building design.
