Automatic Revolving Doors for Veranda Mall

With a rentable area of 30,000 square meters and a total cost of 60 million euros, Veranda Mall – the 10th shopping center of the Capital – was inaugurated on October 27th, in the Obor area of Bucharest.

Veranda Mall serves over 400,000 residents from the neighborhoods of Obor, Ștefan cel Mare, Moșilor, and Colentina. Currently, the shopping center hosts 46 stores, bank branches, as well as 19 restaurants, fast food outlets, and cafes.

The mall offers over 1,200 free parking spaces for customers. Although the cinema is not yet operational, it is planned for a later phase of development.

Efficient and Elegant Access – 3 Record K31 Revolving Doors

To efficiently manage the large flow of visitors, Veranda Mall has been equipped with three automatic Record revolving doors, supplied by KADRA. These doors were chosen for their durability and ability to facilitate access for a large number of people, including those with disabilities.

The Record K31 revolving doors have 3 wings, a generous diameter of 4,000 mm, and allow the passage of over 3,000 people per hour. The wide diameter, combined with the slowdown option, facilitates access for people in wheelchairs or with strollers.

To maintain an optimal indoor temperature and reduce air conditioning costs, each door is equipped with a warm air curtain, automatically activated when the door rotates. Additionally, the doors feature an upper operator and night closing system for added security.

The modern design of these doors integrates perfectly into the building’s architecture, offering visitors an elegant and comfortable welcome.

Important Tenants and Top Brands

The largest tenant of Veranda Mall is Carrefour, occupying 11,000 square meters – one-third of the center’s area. Alongside it, brands such as:

H&M – 2,000 sqm
Deichmann – 450 sqm
CCC – 500 sqm
Pimkie, Pepco, DM, Le Cashmere Heritage, Lora Shoes, Petmag, Diverta, Sensiblu – with smaller but well-positioned spaces.

A New Commercial Destination for the Obor Area

Veranda Mall is located on Ziduri Moși Street, in the Obor area, on the site of the former Prodplast factory. The Obor area has long been known as an important commercial center of the Capital, thanks to the eponymous market.

Andrei Pogonaru, the project coordinator, stated that the second phase of development will also include a cinema, for which space is already provided.
