Military Hospital Regina Maria Parking, BrașOv
Starting from December 2015, the multi-level parking at Military Hospital Regina Maria is fully operational, representing one of the most modern parking facilities in Romania.
Parking Details
The parking building has 7 levels – 4 underground and 3 above ground (one of which is technical). In total, 306 parking spaces have been arranged, distributed as follows:
- Basement -4 (12 meters deep): 39 spaces
- Basement -3: 47 spaces
- Basement -2: 48 spaces
- Basement -1: 48 spaces
- Ground floor: 36 spaces
- First floor: 48 spaces
- Technical floor: 40 spaces
The Parking Includes:
- 10 spaces for people with disabilities
- 8 spaces for electric cars, equipped with special charging outlets
- Spaces for bicycles
Investment and Financing
According to mytex.ro, the total value of the works was 17,915,063.68 lei (VAT included) – 5 million lei less than the initial estimate. Financing was provided through the Regional Operational Program – Brașov Growth Pole, with a 2% co-financing from the Brașov City Hall.
KADRA Parking System
Implemented by KADRA, the parking system is adapted for heavy traffic and includes:
- 3 entrances and 3 exits, serving all 306 spaces
- VoIP intercom system with bidirectional call for customer support
- 2 automatic payment machines for coins, banknotes, and cards, with change dispensing (in coins and banknotes)
- Fast barriers, interconnected with the fire alarm system
- 2 electronic displays for showing the number of free spaces (on the ground floor and terrace)
The parking is ready for integration of long-term access, through proximity cards – an ideal solution for resident subscriptions and recurring users.
