Tormed Salon Doors – High Quality, Prices for the Romanian Market

Each hospital door must meet certain requirements and respond to specific medical needs to create a sterile environment and provide safety for both patients and medical staff. We believe in modern hospitals and know how important the environment is where patients are treated.

Tormed offers, through KADRA, doors for the medical sector suitable for operating rooms, radiology rooms, research laboratories, clean rooms (prevent dust settlement to keep the environment sterile), and controlled atmosphere rooms. Tormed provides the solution: swinging doors with HPL and metal frame for wards, made of wood, with HPL coating (thickness between 0.7 and 0.9 mm) and integrated porthole. The handles are “U” type (anti-hook shape) made of stainless steel to prevent injury to medical staff.

Due to the construction of the panel, the swinging door ensures thermal and sound insulation for the ward, but additional sealing at the bottom can be opted for, with a retractable threshold. However, because needs vary, Tormed has developed a series of accessories designed to cover all the needs users might have: multiple opening systems, possibility of rectangular glazing, equipped with stainless steel protection plates (push plate) at mid or lower level, ventilation grilles for directing polluted air evacuation, option to choose from a wide range of colors.

Another solution is the operating room doors, which, in addition to salon doors, benefit from automation with touchless button operation via proximity radar. This way, manual operation of the door is not required, and the environment remains sterile.
