Humanitas Hospital is known in Cluj Napoca for its services in general surgery, oncological surgery, urology, and aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Recently, it underwent a rehabilitation process of certain departments to provide even better conditions for both patients and medical staff. The neurosurgery department of the hospital underwent rehabilitation, and specialists from KADRA were called upon to provide suitable access solutions for the department’s operating block. The department needed automatic access, solutions that allow contactless operation, doors equipped with portholes (especially those in the washroom and operating room) to allow remote monitoring of the patient’s condition.

Thanks to the materials used (HPL), it can be cleaned with specific substances without degrading. Moreover, the panel construction ensures good thermal and sound insulation (additional sealing with a retractable threshold can also be opted for).

Semi-hermetic sliding doors are built to meet the strict requirements specific to “clean rooms”: operating rooms, radiology rooms, laboratories, etc. Tormed SER – It is a system that ensures sealing on the vertical sides. In the upper and lower areas, it ensures a perfect closure, but without being airtight. The operator and the door have rounded shapes to reduce dust accumulation and facilitate cleaning. The automations have an inclined upper part. Electrostatic energy is discharged to prevent dust accumulation. The automatic opening/closing system, based on sensors, eliminates the need for personnel contact with the door.
