Automatic Sliding Doors and Multifunctional Metal Doors for Funshop Park Turda
Funshop Park is the newest retail park brand in Romania, a concept specially designed for medium and small cities.
For the latest shopping center in the Funshop Park chain, the one in Turda, KADRA teams proposed and installed the automatic sliding doors for shopper access to stores, as well as multifunctional metal doors in the interior areas of the center, specifically the storage and supply spaces.
Safe Access, Guaranteed Comfort for Funshop Park Turda Visitors
Funshop Park Turda has over 9,000 sqm of rentable area, 270 parking spaces, 18 stores, and a hypermarket.
Almost 50 automatic doors were installed and calibrated by colleagues from KADRA Service, including 20 automatic sliding doors and 26 multifunctional metal doors, to facilitate visitor access and ensure a seamless flow in the supply and storage areas of the stores.
With spaces adapted to customer needs, a large number of parking spaces, high glass facades, and large logos positioned above the entrance, Funshop Park is a concept created to meet the needs and expectations of both residents and companies looking to expand their store network.
Automatic Sliding Doors, the Stars of the Commercial Sector
Automatic sliding doors are preferred as access solutions for stores in shopping centers with exterior entrances, as is the case with Funshop Turda. The installation and maintenance of the doors are easy to perform, they are practical, safe, and reliable, proving to be an investment that lasts over time if correctly installed and maintained.
Additionally, they contribute to the building’s energy efficiency; in conditions of continuous and intense traffic, the door opens and closes automatically after people enter or exit, without the risk of being left open.
Quiet and with a design that allows them to easily adapt to any type of facade, they are the optimal access solution, especially for this type of commercial park that has numerous stores with exterior access.

All to create a safe and comfortable shopping experience, given that, as studies show, Romanians are much more attached to the shopping experience in a mall, to the idea of a one-stop shop, where under one roof they find multiple stores with different profiles: from clothing to sports items, electronics, or pharmacy. This year, almost 20 new or expanded shopping centers will be inaugurated, adding 178,000 square meters to the total stock, which thus moves towards 4.5 million square meters.
