AFI BRAȘOV is the newest shopping center at the foot of Tâmpa, a project for which KADRA provided the sliding automatic doors for simple and safe access.

The mall, with an area of 45,000 square meters, was inaugurated in October and hosts over 100 international brands as well as local brands known to the people of Brașov. In addition, the construction benefits from a green terrace of over 3,500 sqm, perfectly integrated with the natural setting, oriented towards the Carpathian Mountains, which complements the experience offered by playgrounds, relaxation areas, cafes, and restaurants.

Automatic Doors with Break-Out System for Comfort and Safety

KADRA installed sliding automatic doors in two functional variants.

These are automatic doors for quick and comfortable access, but especially clean, during this period when the concern for strictly adhering to hygiene rules should be a priority. In a crowded and dynamic shopping center, automatic doors are the optimal solution for quick access when visitors have their arms full of shopping or want to avoid touching handles and knobs.

KADRA teams have also installed automatic doors equipped with an emergency evacuation system, essential for compliance with current fire safety regulations in buildings with high pedestrian traffic.

In normal sliding doors, fixed side panels block up to two-thirds of the passage opening. With the break-out emergency opening system, the entire passage opening remains fully accessible. This system is suitable not only for emergency situations but is also ideal for transferring bulky items.

Due to the space benefits it brings, the system is predominantly used in shopping centers, large stores, furniture stores, and buildings with high traffic volumes.
