KADRA Has Installed Automated Access Solutions and the Ticketing System for the New UTA Stadium in Arad
The automatic doors, window actuators, fire-resistant doors, turnstiles, and access control system at the newly renovated UTA stadium in Arad bear the KADRA signature.
With a long history behind it – the new stadium was built on the site of the old Francisc von Neuman arena inaugurated in 1946 and considered, at that time, the most modern in the country – the UTA stadium underwent a long reconstruction process, completed in August 2020. Everything was rebuilt from scratch at the new stadium, which now has a capacity of 12,700 seats, with the total investment amounting to 14 million euros.
Customized Solutions for the Project
The project was a long-term one, with KADRA teams maintaining constant contact with the beneficiary and the builder to adapt suitable solutions to the needs of the new arena. Many of the automation solutions were installed during the state of emergency and alert, with increased attention to the teams on the ground.
For a modern and fluid ticketing system, KADRA teams installed 15 turnstiles equipped with supports for card and barcode readers at UTA Arad. These were the requirements of the designer who had to harmonize with UEFA standards, practically calculating the number of turnstiles based on the number of seats in the stadium.

KADRA has been offering integrated access and ticketing solutions for stadiums for over 30 years; these are modern systems that comply with current European standards.
And because today’s world relies heavily on technology, we align with the norms and offer technologically advanced solutions that facilitate access to stadiums and sports centers, providing a comfortable and safe experience for both athletes and spectators.
