KADRA Installed Two Fully Glazed Revolving Doors with Safety Sensors for IQuest Cluj-Napoca

Recently, we installed two revolving doors fully glazed for IQuest Cluj-Napoca, one of the most eco-friendly buildings in Romania.

The construction of the IQuest office building had two main objectives: housing a public multi-story parking lot and creating service spaces. At the same time, compliance with the urban planning regulations for this area was considered, regarding alignment placement (continuous frontage), covering the existing blind wall, urban indices, and accesses. The construction has a size of 23,300 sqm.

Our revolving doors successfully met the project’s need for access solutions for a modern, customizable, and intense transit, consisting of a large number of people entering and exiting the building daily.

The large number of people transiting the building daily required the customization of the two doors to large dimensions, so their diameter is 2800 mm, and the total height is 2500 mm.

Thanks to advanced technology, which ensures safety, reliability, and fast flow, KADRA revolving doors fully met the beneficiary’s requirements, constituting a complex solution for automating the access ways in the IQuest building.

When we installed two revolving doors for IQuest, the beneficiary considered their ultra-silent operation and high reliability. Thus, the two automatic doors revolving installed by us not only facilitate access to the building for a large number of people daily but can also be easily optimized for use and require easy maintenance, being the solution recommended by KADRA specialists for areas with high people flow, regardless of the field of activity.

Besides the functional role of building access, the two glazed revolving doors also serve as fire protection, being equipped with safety sensors according to European Norms EN 16005.

For the IQuest building in Cluj-Napoca, we installed two revolving doors with 4 wings, featuring an in-floor operator, which gave the beneficiary increased freedom in choosing the materials used.

The modern and futuristic architecture of the construction is complemented by the robust design of the two glazed revolving doors, which stand out with a glass ceiling, 17 mm thick, and curved glazing, made of 12 mm glass, allowing natural light to disperse inside and create a warm and particularly pleasant ambiance.
