Automated Access Solutions and Parkomatic Parking System by KADRA at the Arcul De Triumf Stadium

For the newest stadium in Bucharest, the Arcul de Triumf arena, KADRA installed a system of metal doors and fire-resistant doors, the automated parking system, Parkomatic, as well as the access system for the hotel within the sports complex.

Who doesn’t miss the vibrant atmosphere of a stadium match? In this challenging period when many competitions have been suspended or played without spectators, the good news is that modernization or reconstruction works have continued at many stadiums in the capital and beyond. One of the projects to be completed during the pandemic is the Arcul de Triumf Stadium.

The new stadium will have over 8,000 seats and boasts state-of-the-art facilities, the highlight being the hybrid natural grass (natural grass with artificial fibers), similar to that at Allianz Arena in Germany. The new arena will have the most modern locker rooms for athletes and referees, media spaces, a conference room, first aid points for spectators (at each stand), a recovery center for athletes (SPA and sports medicine type with related facilities), press spaces, VIP areas, accommodation spaces, and 170 parking spaces for spectators. The Arcul de Triumf Stadium will be comparable to any stadium in the world.

Fire-resistant Doors for Enhanced Safety

The safety of spectators and athletes was one of the central concerns when the renovation process began. Over 200 technical doors and fire-resistant doors (both exterior and interior doors) were installed by KADRA in this complex structure. In the event of incidents, the doors are designed to withstand extremely high temperatures and prevent the spread of fire. KADRA’s doors are resistant to fire exposure for periods of 60, 90, and 120 minutes, depending on the specific placement of each one, and have international CE certifications.

The Arcul de Triumf project also includes a hotel, located within the stadium, for which KADRA supplied and installed the doors for over 40 rooms, each equipped with a card-based access system.

Additionally, to streamline traffic, the parking intended for the stadium was equipped with the Parkomatic system offered by KADRA, featuring an access control system for entry/exit and automated payment stations for cash or card.
