Stylish Modernization: Automatic Revolving Door
Hotel Centrum in Galați is one of the main landmarks of the city, being a location appreciated by tourists arriving for business and beyond.
The hotel has undergone an extensive modernization and renovation process and is now part of a prestigious international hotel chain. During this transformation, the old sliding doors were replaced with a three-leaf automatic revolving door.
The decision was made together with the architect in charge of the project, with the KADRA team providing specialized consultancy throughout its duration.
Given that Centrum Galați is located in close proximity to the Danube and the air currents are strong, the option of an automatic door was preferred over a manual version, which means the leaves remain locked during idle times. This leads to energy efficiency and more comfort inside the hotel. The door allows a constant flow of entries and exits with a capacity of over 2300 accesses per hour.
In addition, a professional horizontal air curtain was installed, which acts as a thermal insulator and maintains a constant interior temperature.
The project also included organizing the hotel’s automatic parking system, which has 14 spaces exclusively for clients.
The entrance is the business card of a building, especially when it comes to a hotel that welcomes tourists and aims to create a pleasant experience for them. The automatic revolving door is a solution that can meet any aesthetic and design requirements and additionally brings benefits in terms of access flow, energy efficiency, and guest comfort.
