Integrated Access Engineering Solutions by KADRA Installed at Sonaca Aerospace Transilvania

Starting with Innovation in access engineering represents the technologization of space in the sense of enhancing people’s comfort and sense of safety. For more than 30 years, KADRA’s objective has been to offer integrated solutions in the optimal formula so that the beneficiary receives consistency, fluency, customization, and innovation from us. In 2022, the Pitești County Emergency Hospital began an extensive rehabilitation and expansion process to provide better conditions for both medical staff and, especially, patients. With a substantial investment from European funds and the local budget, the hospital aims to modernize and be brought up to today’s standards in modern medicine.

Our company specializes in providing integrated solutions across three business lines: Automatic Access (doors, gates, windows), Parking Management Systems and Smoke Hatches, Skylights and Polycarbonate.

Each KADRA project benefits from the combined contribution of expertise related to: project analysis, solution customization, delivery of the agreed solution, installation, service, and maintenance. One of the most important access engineering projects by KADRA is Sonaca Aerospace Transilvania. This company is a subsidiary of the Belgian group Sonaca SA, a manufacturer of systems for the aerospace industry. The factory opened in Cluj County specializes in the production of components for Airbus aircraft.

In this project, KADRA engineers installed complete access solutions, from automatic barriers, turnstiles, to automatic doors.

Since the constructor used KADRA solutions (both automatic access and parking management systems) in numerous constructions previously, they wanted this large-scale project to benefit from solutions at the same high quality standard for access routes.

The Sonaca factory is intended for the production of aircraft wing and fuselage components, thus requiring a complex and highly customized access engineering solution that ensures employee safety and comfort, provides fire protection, and meets the intense traffic flow.
