28 bus stops modernized in Arad with solid polycarbonate—an efficient, durable solution from KADRA
This spring, Arad’s public transport infrastructure received a major upgrade: 28 bus stops were fitted with a modern solution delivered by KADRA—solid polycarbonate panels, a material that provides an efficient and safe alternative to toughened glass.
Why solid polycarbonate?
Compared to glass, solid polycarbonate offers a series of clear advantages, making it an excellent choice for exposed public spaces:

- Superior impact resistance, vandalism, and extreme weather conditions
- Enhanced safety, by eliminating the risk of injury if it breaks
- Costs up to 30% lower than traditional options
Fast execution
Another key advantage in this project was implementation speed: the polycarbonate sheets were delivered pre-cut to size, ready for installation. As a result, the KADRA team completed the works in a short time, with minimal disruption for the city’s residents.
