One of the main reasons many tourists preferred to avoid Poiana Brașov on weekends, especially during peak seasons, was the lack of adequate parking. Searching for a parking space often became a real adventure, lasting long and usually ending with parking the car in an unauthorized spot. Things have changed starting this weekend, when Brașov City Hall inaugurated a multi-story parking, fully automated with KADRA systems, in the most sought-after resort on the Prahova Valley. “There will be 434 parking spaces for vehicles, spaces for minibuses and buses, spaces for vehicles of people with disabilities, and spaces for bicycles. The parking will offer all the facilities of a modern parking lot. Very important is also the transport terminal, which will allow us to pick up tourists who leave their cars in this parking and transport them with small capacity buses to the resort,” said Mayor George Scripcaru, present at the official opening.

The parking has controlled access through an automatic barrier system. The two entrance gates are located on the ground floor, and the exit is through the basement. It is also equipped with a pedestrian access area, sanitary groups, waiting areas at the entrance and exit, as well as a lift adapted for people with disabilities.

The use of the parking is conditioned by the payment of a fee, which can be paid both at the operator and at the automatic cashier provided by KADRA. The entire system is fully automated, including payment, fire detection and extinguishing, lighting control, and video surveillance – thus offering complete safety for your vehicle.
