XXL automatic sliding door for the Salvamont Centre in Poiana Brașov
Some projects stand out through their technical complexity, unusual dimensions, and special installation conditions. This was also the case for the work carried out by the KADRA team for the Salvamont Centre in Poiana Brașov, where an automatic sliding door with breakout function was installed, with impressive dimensions: 4,210 mm wide x 4,050 mm high.
Installation under special conditions, efficient coordination
The installation started in the early hours of the morning and was carried out in two stages:
- The first day was dedicated to measurements, installing the frame, and securing the panels, all carried out with precision and attention to detail, at a sustained pace.
- The second day was allocated to installing and connecting the automatic drive system, as well as the final operational tests.
Despite the door’s size and the working conditions in a mountainous area, the project was completed in just two days, demonstrating excellent organization and a high technical level.

- Reliability in variable climate conditions
- Enhanced safety thanks to the breakout function, which allows full opening in an emergency
